Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using GoNoSolo. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use GoNoSolo.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and GoNoSolo ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
To use GoNoSolo you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- Not be prohibited from using the service under any applicable law
- Not have had a prior account terminated for violations of these Terms
By using the platform you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to access most features. When registering you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
One person may hold only one GoNoSolo account. Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent suspensions or bans is prohibited.
4. User Conduct
GoNoSolo is a community built on trust. You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, age, qualifications, or intentions
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against any user
- Share another user's personal data without their consent
- Use the platform for commercial solicitation or spam
- Attempt to circumvent our security, RLS policies, or rate limits
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Platform automatically
- Post false, defamatory, or misleading reviews or feedback
- Engage in any illegal activity in connection with your use of GoNoSolo
5. Trip Hosting & Joining
Hosts
Trip hosts are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of trip details including dates, destinations, costs, and group size. Hosts must review join requests in good faith and may not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.
Joiners
When you request to join a trip, you agree to provide honest information in your introduction message. Approved members are expected to follow through on commitments; repeatedly withdrawing without notice may result in account penalties.
No booking guarantee
GoNoSolo is a matchmaking platform. We do not book flights, hotels, or tours on your behalf. All travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual travelers involved.
6. Content Standards
Any content you post — including profile information, trip descriptions, messages, photos, and reviews — must not:
- Contain nudity, graphic violence, or sexually explicit material
- Promote illegal activities, hate speech, or self-harm
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Include private contact details (phone numbers, social handles) designed to bypass our platform
- Be generated or submitted in bulk through automated means
By submitting content, you grant GoNoSolo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store, and distribute that content in connection with operating the platform.
7. Intellectual Property
The GoNoSolo name, logo, design, code, and all platform features are the exclusive property of GoNoSolo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. The licence granted in Section 6 does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
GoNoSolo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information, the suitability of any travel match, or the outcome of any trip. Travel involves inherent risk; you accept full responsibility for your own safety and decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoNoSolo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or from any trip arranged through it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of £50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice if you:
- Breach any provision of these Terms
- Engage in behaviour that harms other users or the platform
- Provide false identity or verification information
- Fail to respond to safety or support enquiries
On termination, your public profile is removed and your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
